Charalampos Apostolopoulos received his Ph.D. in Philosophie from the University of Heidelberg with a dissertation on the thought of Gregory of Nyssa and his relation to Platonism ( "Phaedo Christianus", Frankfurt a.M.1986).
Professor of philosophical and educational anthropology at the University of Ioannina in Greece.Research in athropology,philosophy of education, ancient philosophy(especially in relation to Christiamity),modern philosophy and ethics.

Dr. Mariana Spanaki currently teaches Children's Literature studies at the University of Ioannina. She holds a PhD (1993) from the University of Birmingham, UK . Her research interests include Gender and Translation Studies, Comparative Children's Literature and Young Adults (Greek and Anglophone), Historical Novel, Postcolonialism, Literacies and Creative writing. Her most recent book is on N. Kazantzakis and Children's Literature. She enjoys long distance walking and is interested in poetry from antiquity to the present.
